I've participated in two challenges and really enjoyed both! I'm always hesitant to commit to a longer challenge with more difficult nail art because I'm not very good at freehand designs! Plus, I don't want to lose the fun by feeling tied down to a daily nail art challenge. I really like how so many bloggers are using inlinkz.com to link all the participants together during these challenges. Lindsey at the Neverland Nail Blog has been so helpful in answering my questions about inlinkz and how to set up a nail art challenge, so shout out to her for that! Don't forget to check out her blog :)
My inspiration came from the Sound of Music song, "My Favorite Things" because I absolutely adore the movie, Julie Andrews and Salzburg, Austria! I came up with a list of some of my favorite things and think they translate quite well to the nail!
I will be posting my manis twice a week - on Tuesday and Thursday - but feel free to work at your own pace if you would like. The challenge will begin on Monday, August 13th and my first post will be up on Tuesday, August 14! I'll be sending an email out on Monday and Wednesday evenings with the specific code to add to your blog. That link will be up for about a week and you can add the HTML code to the specific blog post by switching to HTML and copy and pasting at the bottom of your text. It is quite easy to use and walks you through the steps to upload your photo. There will be an "add to collection" button, which allows you to choose the photo you want, type in your blog name and then you're good to go!
I'm really looking forward to this challenge and hope some of you participate! It's a great opportunity for challenge first timers and also the old pros that have completed numerous ones. If you would like to participate, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org! I will compile a list of the participants so I can email the links on Monday and Wednesday. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask! I'm so excited!
Lindsey was kind enough to share the awesome tutorial she made for the Summer Fun Challenge so check it out if you're still unsure how to insert the inlinkz html code to your blog! Click here to view the tutorial!
